Life in Moscow is a theatrical piece with 12 million actors. Each of them plays their own role in this magnificent production.

However, there are those for whom the capital is nothing more than a convention and a set dressing. And they, known to everyone and noticeable to none, smile as they watch others perform from the imperial box. Touch the glorious history of Povarskaya Street and the understated luxury of life near the Patriarshiye Ponds, surrounding yourself with elite neighbors. Welcome to Teatralny Dom. Please take your seats!

Cradle of the Moscow aristocratism
If one wanted to find a word to define Povarskaya Street in Moscow, the best one would be "aristocratism." The Dolgorukovs and Golitsyns, the Sheremetevs and Volkonskys – since the late 17th century, the triangle area defined by Povarskaya, Bolshaya Nikitskaya Streets and Nikitsky Boulevard was home to the most noble families in the country. Their aristocratic luxury is captivating the Muscovites to this day: according to realtor statistics, residents of these streets very rarely choose to move from their favorite location. Teatralny Dom will combine everything they value so highly: the modern lifestyle, history of the place and exquisite architecture.
Handcrafted houses

The space of Teatralny Dom is ruled by your laws only. Eight mansions, each having an individual facade, create a common private courtyard. Varied heights of 4 to 7 floors make it possible to use the terraces and apartment suites with walkable roofs.

HOUSE is ready
Restoration of an architectural masterpiece

In August 2016, reconstruction of New Arbat was completed: the favorite street of Muscovites has come before them in all its splendor. Without a shadow of a doubt, the restored neoclassical facade of Teatralny Dom became its new jewel.

1893
Created in 1893 by the distinguished architect Nikolay Strukov, the house on Povarskaya 8 once again looks magnificent and luxurious.
N.D. Strukov

The architecture of Teatralny Dom deserves your admiration. Its front facades, with their carefully recreated stucco cornices and pilasters, are majestic and austere. The private courtyard, inaccessible to cars, features an entirely different architectural style: eclecticism with elements of the Russian modernism. Modernist mosaic panels were hand-assembled using smalt.

Architectural lighting transforms the ensemble of the buildings into set pieces for a magical Christmas play.

A house begins in the lobby

Interior designs in lobbies and common areas play their part in this architectural production.

Decorated with exquisite Italian marble and designer plaster, they give Teatralny Dom a magnificent look and bring us back to the times of the great Russian scenic artists such as Mikhail Vrubel, Nicholas Roerich, Boris Kustodiev, and Alexandre Benois.
